Description

Create an a pair of Monarch Butterflies with the expert help of artist Teresa Seaton. You will decide what colours and textures you to place into our piece.

This one day workshop, will leave you with the skills to continue on your own stained glass projects.

Learn the skills for copper foiling stained glass. Begin by learning the skills to cut, grind, foil and solder while fabricating your feather. This course is a hands on media. Hand building strength is required. Finished sun catchers will be taken home but not other tools.

Please wear long pants and closed toed shoes, and bring a mask if you are sensitive to smells/fumes.

6-hour workshop with half hour break for lunch. Please bring your own lunch.

Instructor Bio: Teresa’s uniquely sculptural fine art stained glass is an artistic trademark featuring multi layers of glass panels with spun wire. Her use of a refined colour pallet creates a mood and atmosphere that is distinctive to Teresa, making her one of Canada’s most notable emerging Fine Art Stained Glass Artists.
