YOUth Sense

YOUth Sense is a summer camp program that has been specifically developed for participants who have a special need and/or a disability and who do not require one to one support.

Youth with a disability, who are between the ages of 9 and 14 years of age, who thrive in a camp environment that includes a variety of activities including arts, sports, games, guest speakers and nature activities will be sure to enjoy this program. The “staff to participant” ratio is low allowing for increased opportunities to create a supportive camp environment thrive in a camp environment that includes a variety of activities including arts, sports, games, guest speakers and nature activities will be sure to enjoy this program. activities and our staff are specifically trained to work in a supportive camp
environment. If the program is full, we encourage you to sign up for the waitlist.

Children and youth who require one to one support in order to enjoy a successful camp experience are encouraged to sign up for our Inclusion Membership found at www.kitchener.ca/inclusion. With an inclusion membership you can register for up to two weeks of summer camp inclusion support each year, based on availability.
