- Do you want to learn where to look for grant opportunities?
This workshop is for you if you answered yes to any of these questions.
The City of Kitchener in collaboration with Kind Mind Family Wellness is hosting Grant Writing for Racialized Communities, a 2-part workshop that Kind Minds Family Wellness has tailored for participants interested in learning the essentials of writing and completing a grant proposal/application, plus the practical steps required to become a grant writer for municipal, provincial, and federal grant opportunities.
The workshops will cover the basics of grant writing, including crucial information to share in grant proposals, tips for writing a persuasive case for support, and how to tell the story of your work and its impact. It will also cover specifics related to the City of Kitchener’s RISE Fund and, more generally, about applying to other grants. Workshop participants will be able to present specific grant application-related challenges and acquire practical and transferable skills for future grant applications.
