When you register for programs or services using Active Net, the City of Kitchener collects the personal information you provide under the authority of the Municipal Act s.11(1) as applicable and will be used for administrative purposes; to facilitate your registration in programs and services of your choosing, and to contact you regarding the programs and services in which you are enrolled. This information may be shared with third parties and staff who require it for their work as part of the Corporation of Kitchener. The personal information collected herein will be used only for the purposes relating to the program and will be protected in accordance with the requirements stipulated in the MFIPPA.
