Description
Participants will work through illustrating a one page Sunday style comic found in a newspaper insert. Exploring examples of comics, the group will discuss storytelling, layout and character design. Participants will be given a layout template to craft their comic and the instructor will guide them on the setup and execution of image based storytelling. The instructor will breakdown how to create a character both visually and conceptually. This workshop is a combination of hands on drawing and theory based instruction. This program is run in partnership with Creative Hub 1352.
