WELCOME TO THE CITY OF WATERLOO AQUATIC PROGRAM!

NOTE: If a customer is registered in the following levels: Waterloo Splash 5 or below (group or private lessons), Adult and/or Teen levels 1 and 2 and Senior Learn to Swim then a competent deep end swimmer must attend the full lesson. This parent/guardian must be over the age of 16 years of age, from the same family bubble and preference would be for the same gender for ease of dressing room use.

FALL 2020 SAFETY AND PROTOCOL INFORMATION.

1. Participants must come prepared for lessons with their bathing suits on.
2. Only those adults needing to attend lessons in the water will be permitted inside the building. For those levels not needing a parent/guardian in the water, registered swimmers are required to be dropped off and picked up at the front door. Swim lesson viewing gallery is not available this Fall.
3. Physical distancing protocols must be maintained at all times in the building.
4. Regional Council by-law requires the wearing of masks inside City of Waterloo facilities. Masks must be worn when entering and moving through the facility. The by-law exempts children under the age of five and those who are unable to wear a face covering (due to a medical condition, disability, etc.).
5. Entrance into the facility from the front doors of the building labelled "Swim Entrance" will occur up to 8 minutes prior to the start of the program. Registered customers will line up (physically distancing) in the front lobby and then will be escorted onto the pool deck.
6. It is highly recommended that swim participants bring a large gym bag to place all belongings in that will be left on the pool deck during the program. Baskets will be available for use as required.
7. All participants will shower on the pool deck and proceed to the designated area where the program level is posted to wait for your instructor.
8. At the conclusion of the program, participants will be permitted to access the male or female change facilities for drying off and changing. A maximum of 10 minutes will be permitted in the change room. Please note family change facilities are not available at this time.
9. Once you exit the change facilities please exit from the front of the building labelled "Swim Exit".

2. Have traveled outside of Canada within the last 14 days.
3. Have been in close contact with a person with a confirmed or probable case of COVID-19.
