Description
Embark on a journey through the evolution of book craftsmanship. Unravel the inner structure of a book and craft a one-of-a-kind personal journal. Whether you're a teenager, young adult, or seasoned enthusiast, join us for a day of hands-on bookmaking. All materials provide by the instructor for a $30 Material Fee. Meet the artist-educator: Mohammad Tabesh (he/him) is an engineer turned artist residing and working in Toronto. His practice is focused on the human condition, the art of resistance, and art and social change. Through writing, printmaking, multimedia, and sculpture, he explores modes of storytelling in which narrative is embedded in the artwork. Mohammad is the 2020 recipient of the OCAD University’s Sculpture and Installation medal. Website: www.motabesh.com For additional program information, visit AuroraCulturalCentre.ca |
