Description

In partnership with the YRDSB Continuing Education Services, the Town of Aurora will be delivering an extended Aquatic Leadership Program geared towards high school students who are interested in obtaining a Grade 12 high school course credit (Recreation and Healthy Active Living Leadership, Grade 12 University/College (PLF4M1). Upon completion of course, the students may be eligible in obtaining the following certifications: National Lifeguard Certification and the Lifesaving Society’s Swim and Lifesaving Instructor Certification.


Pre-Requisites: hold Bronze Cross and Standard First Aid (Current certifications preferred), be 15 years of age by test dates, and currently attend a Secondary School.

Remote Learning dates: March 19, March 24, March 31, May 3, and May 21. Please refer to the YRDSB schedule.
