Description

In partnership with the SMCDSB Continuing Education - Students will work towards obtaining 1 high school credit Physical Education "Aquatics" PAQ30 as well as their Bronze Medallion, Bronze Cross, Standard First Aid w/CPR-C and National Lifeguard Pool certifications.

This course is scheduled Mon. July 8th - Fri. Aug. 2nd, 8:30am-2:30pm ea. day (Mon. - Fri. only)

Pre-requisites: Bronze Medallion is the pre-requisite for Bronze Cross.
Bronze Cross & Standard First Aid with CPR 'C' and 15 yrs. of age are the pre-requisites for the National Lifeguard.
Must be able to swim 25m without stopping, face in the water breathe when needed.

Manuals are required and can be purchased at the Recreation centre: Canadian Lifesaving Manual, Canadian First Aid manual, ALERT-Lifeguard in Action
