Roma Jazz: Ensemble Workshop

Curious about Roma Jazz? Come learn it's complex origins and play alongside world renowned violinist and composer, Lache Cercel, together with guitarist and music director of the Roma Jazz Ensemble, Don Ogilvie; the creators of a new genre of music they call Roma Jazz. These masterclasses will take participants on a world musical journey to the historical roots of both Roma and Jazz styles, and engage with the infinitely rich possibilities in their combination. Lache and Don will not only demonstrate the music, but will offer a hands-on opportunity for the participants in an engaging ensemble environment. To give short-term arts students ample time to determine if a short-term program is right for them, students can attend 3 classes before a commitment is required. If you withdraw during this period, you will be charged only for each class you attend without being charged the City of Burnaby refund fee of 10%. Withdrawals/refunds are not permitted after the start of the 3rd class of a short-term program.
