BVM In Your Neighbourhood: Tour of the Masjid al Salaam

Learn about Islamic tradition, architecture and culture in this educational tour of the mosque, Masjid al Salaam, a Muslim place of worship and prayer. Located kitty-corner from the Burnaby Village Museum.

In terms of etiquette:

• participants are free to arrive in their normal clothing.

• Head coverings are not required to enter the building.

• Photography and videography are permitted.

• Please refrain from taking pictures of other people without consent.

• There is underground parking at the mosque or above ground parking at the museum for those who may be driving.

• Group will meet outside of the Mosque
