Family Day at the Burnaby Village Museum - 12:00pm

Join us for Family Day activities!

Gather the family and explore the Love farmhouse, one of Burnaby’s oldest surviving buildings dating back to 1893. Museum Interpreters will be available to tell stories of the families that lived there and how the multigenerational occupants influenced the development of the house. Then, you’ll get to spend some quality time crafting a folded paper model home using upcycled materials or filling in a simple family tree collage. There will also be a few heritage games to try.

• The tour and activities will take approximately 1 hour 45 minutes.

• Space is limited to 25 participants in each session.

• Although there is no fee, pre-registration for all participants is required to ensure you have a spot.

• Programs will start at 10am, 12pm and 2pm. Please ensure you arrive for the time slot you have registered for.

• Activities are recommended for families with children 5 and up.

• Children must be accompanied by an adult.

• Please arrive 5 minutes before session is to start.

• The rest of the Museum, including carousel and restaurant, will not be open on Family Day.
