This site is owned and operated by the City of Burnaby using software licensed from Active Network. We take appropriate measures to safeguard personal information and use encryption, access controls, and other security measures to protect it.
Every time you use Burnaby.ca/WebReg, you give us information. It may include:
- anonymous information about how you accessed the website or the documents you downloaded, or
- personal information that you provided when you registered for, paid for or requested a service, or signed up for an eNewsletter.
Personal Information collected is authorized under section 26(c) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act for purposes of activity registration and purchases of passes and memberships in the City’s WebReg registration system. Before you can register for a recreation, arts or culture activity, you need to set up an account. Your account is protected by password so only you can access it. Your personal information will be stored with your account, but your credit card information will not. The entire WebReg system is fully hosted on a third party data centre located in Canada.
