Power Skating P.D. Day Camp

In partnership with Champion Training Centre, Kevin Wheeler will provide campers with 2.5 hours of:

• Instruction designed to train the basic skating skills necessary in Hockey and Ringette.
• Train the athlete to skate equally well on both feet and in both directions.
Skaters MUST be proficient with their basic skating skills.
• Skaters are required to bring full equipment, staff will assist with helmets and skates only.

Programming the rest of the day will consist off ice conditioning, and regular camp activities including camp games, sports and crafts. Programming will be be provided by leaders who are trained in HIGH FIVE Principles of Healthy Child Development and Standard First-Aid.

HIGH FIVE, is a province-wide quality assurance program that provide resources, tools and training to help providers of children's recreation programs measure and improve the quality of their programs. HIGH FIVE training helps ensure our programs are child-focused, age appropriate, safe and fun!
