
National Lifeguard - Pool Option

Description
National Lifeguard education is designed to develop a sound understanding of lifeguarding principles, good judgment and a mature and responsible attitude toward the role of the lifeguard. The course develops the basic lifeguarding skills, principles and decision-making processes that will assist the lifeguard to evaluate and adapt to different aquatic facilities and emergencies.
Prerequisite: Minimum 15 years of age, Bronze Cross, and Lifesaving Society Standard First Aid, or SFA from a training agency approved by the Ontario government. The list of approved agencies can be found at lifesavingsociety.com.
Candidates will receive: Alert Manual, candidates should bring their Canadian Lifesaving Manual for reference.
Candidates can borrow a pocket mask or purchase one from the front desk.

Withdrawals 5 business days or less prior to the start of the course will receive no refund due to the third party costs.
It is the responsibility of candidates to ensure they have the correct prerequisites for the course and they must be shown to the Instructor on the first class. No refunds will be given if prerequisites are not met.
