Description
The Lifesaving Society First Aid Instructor course prepares candidates to teach first aid courses up to and including Workplace Standard First Aid. Current First Aid Instructors may teach and certify Basic and Emergency First Aid, CPR-A,-B,-C and AED. They may teach (but not certify) Standard First Aid candidates (see Examiners).
First Aid Instructors who hold CPR-HCP may teach (but not certify) CPR-HCP (see Examiners). First Aid Instructors who hold Airway Management may teach (but not certify) Airway Management (see Examiners).
Prerequisites: Minimum 16 years of age, Standard First Aid certification (need not be current).
Candidates will receive: Instructor Manual, First Aid Award Guide.
Candidates will need to purchase: First Aid Instructor Resource from the Lifesaving Society.
Candidates should bring their Canadian First Aid Manual for their reference.
Candidates may borrow a pocket mask, or they are available to purchase from the front desk.

Withdrawals 5 business days or less prior to the start of the course will receive no refund due to the third party costs.
It is the responsibility of candidates to ensure they have the correct prerequisites for the course and they must be shown to the Instructor on the first class. No refunds will be given if prerequisites are not met.
