Description

Discover how to create classic pixel art for video games in the style of Super Mario, Zelda and Terraria. Make characters, terrain, and backgrounds with effective lines, shading and colouring. Design buildings, animals, tools and more. Animate your pixel art and see it in a working game where potions bubble, grass and trees sway, figures walk, run and fly. Camp led by Jim Smith of Progressive Music & Arts with a summer Program Assistant. Bring a USB stick to take your creations home. Ages 8-12.


Drop off (8:30-9am) and pick up (4-4:30pm) is at the multipurpose room door on Wellington Street next to colourful mural, at the intersection of Wellington and Beverly Street.

Before Care (7:30-8:30am) and After Care (4:30-5:30pm) are available for an extra fee - please make sure to choose these fees as well when registering if required.

If your child requires additional support or accommodation to be successful at camp (physical, developmental, or behaviour needs) register through the Inclusion Support barcodes (rather than individual camps).
