
LEGO Spike Prime Robotics and Minecraft Coding

Description
During the LEGO Spike Prime Robotics camp, kids will kick off by building a driving base and mastering block-based programming to navigate through simple mazes. Dive into maze challenges which foster troubleshooting skills and teamwork. Assemble dancing robots, explore creative programming and engage in a friendly dance-off.
The afternoon of Minecraft camp will first explore the tools and capabilities of the Minecraft Education Edition interface. Campers will learn the fundamentals of building and creating various structures, including buildings, swimming pools, and aquariums, using block-based coding. They will also be introduced to coding language sequencing, conditions and loops. Campers will present their programmed creations and share their learnings at a design showcase. Led by an instructor from Stemotics with a summer Program Assistant. Ages 8-12.
Drop off (8:30-9am) and pick up (4-4:30pm) is at the multipurpose room door on Wellington Street next to colourful mural, at the intersection of Wellington and Beverly Street.
Before Care (7:30-8:30am) and After Care (4:30-5:30pm) are available for an extra fee - please make sure to choose these fees as well when registering if required.
