Make a Geocache Workshop

Have you ever gone on a quest to discover the geocaches hidden by the Recreation Team in Fort St. John? If you're curious about the art of crafting these hidden treasures, join our interactive workshop! Here, you'll have the opportunity to create your very own geocache while gaining valuable insights into the necessary requirements for effective concealment using a dedicated app. Whether you choose to collaborate with others or work independently, each participant or team will contribute one geocache to be entrusted to City staff for hiding and logging. Participants may craft an additional geocache to take home. For those with mobile devices, bring them along to the workshop for hands-on learning. You can even take it a step further by downloading the Geocaching® App in advance. Immerse yourself in the world of geocaching, and let your creativity shine! This is an all ages workshop but children under 8 must be accompanied by a guardian ages 16+.
