Description
We are excited to invite you to a transformative workshop led by Mark Freado, an internationally renowned expert in youth mental health, trauma, and resilience.
In this workshop, Mark will introduce the Circle of Courage model, a powerful framework rooted in Indigenous values that supports the positive development of young people. You will explore how to strengthen youth sense of belonging while creating meaningful community responses to youth needs.
This is a unique opportunity to learn how fostering a sense of belonging can inspire growth in youth, helping them to thrive in their families, schools, and communities. Don't miss this chance to gain insights from one of the leading voices in youth development!
This workshop will be invaluable for teachers, counselors, community leaders, and anyone working to support the healthy development of children and youth.
Spaces are limited, so please register by October 20th to secure your spot! Lunch will be provided.
This workshop is hosted by the City of Fort St. John and funded through the Government of Canada’s Building Safer Communities Fund to enhance community safety through crime and violence prevention initiatives.
