Description
This is a non-refundable $117 application fee. If approved, non-profit organizations will receive a $117 credit off their permit
fees.
If your event has any of the below attributes, it is defined as a Community Festival:
General Public Welcome
1,000-4,999 Guests Expected
Alcohol / Fundraising / Raffle
Amplified Sound
Carnival/Fair
Food Vendors
Staking
Generator Use
Industrial Cooking
Electrical Hook-ups
Road Closures
Use of Bruce Hanscombe Park, Millennium Square or Alex Robertson Park
Please note: Community Festivals require a minimum of 1 year in advance of your event date, for new applicants. Renewing applicants can apply August 1st in the year prior to the event.
Once your application fee has been paid and processed your Community Festival & Events Application will be provided to the Events Committee and the Director, Community Services for review. Our staff will connect with you within in 2-3 weeks.
