A Power of Attorney is a legal document that allows you to appoint someone to make decisions on your behalf when you are unable to do so. Join us as you receive what you need to know about Power of Attorney in Ontario. They will provide some practical information and things you should consider when creating a Power of Attorney, including:
• What is a Power of Attorney and why is it important to have?
• The two types of Power of Attorney in Ontario
• A review of the Ontario Government’s Power of Attorney forms
• How to change or cancel a Power of Attorney
A FREE Power of Attorney Kit, created by the Ministry of the Attorney General (containing blank Power of Attorney forms and Guidelines) will be provided to each attendee. Only ONE (1) Power of Attorney Kit per attendee.
