Description

Push your limits while working out in the outdoors. This bootcamp will challenge you physically by using full body movements, agility ladders, interval training, strength training using large muscle groups, and so much more. Burn large amounts of calories and promote large strength gains all while having fun. A great workout for all fitness levels.

This class will start June 29 and run for 6 weeks.

Welcome to our gradual return to Fitness in Clarington! Thank for you for joining our first of two 6-week outdoor Summer Fitness sessions. We are excited to welcome you back. There are a few important things to know before we get started. During Stage 1 of re-opening ALL fitness classes will be held outdoors. Please note that facilities and ultimately, washroom’s and changerooms, are closed and unavailable for use at this time. Please come dressed and ready for classes. All outdoor classes are subject to the weather, in extreme cases classes will be cancelled, participants notified, and credits applied where applicable. Participants are encouraged to dress appropriate to the weather, bring water and a yoga mat to class. Closed toe, athletic shoes are mandatory for all classes except yoga. COVID Screening: If you have any COVID symptoms or are concerned you've had a potential exposure; we ask that you refrain from coming to class. Contact the Durham Region Health Department for more information on how to proceed and how to get tested. When you arrive at class you will be required to go through a screening process to gain entry to class. Please keep your mask on and social distance as the instructor makes his/her way to you. Masks: You will be required to wear a mask through the screening process, as you enter and exit class. You do not need to wear a mask while you exercise. Physical Distancing: Strict physical distancing of at least 3 metres between patrons will be enforced at all times in class. Please be mindful of others as you move around exercising. Equipment: Due to public health recommendations and governing body guidelines we are unable to use all pieces of our Fitness equipment at this time. If you wish to bring a pair of dumbbells or resistance band to class you are welcome to do so, but this is not required.
