Description
Attention all Teens, your fitness journey starts here! This course is designed for teens ages 13 to 17 years of age, to gain confidence and knowledge in all things “Working out”. This course meets once a week for one hour in the Courtice Fitness Training Centre and is led by a Certified Personal Trainer. This is a workout, so come ready to work! Teens will learn the proper use of strength and cardiovascular equipment in order to help build confidence operating the machines safely and effectively. Further Trainer will teach proper form and training techniques for safe, age-appropriate weightlifting, principles used to gain muscular strength and endurance, build cardiovascular endurance, and learn how to build safe and effective workouts. This course will also touch on basic nutrition, and overall health and wellness tips and tricks, gym etiquette, basic anatomy and stretching techniques. All fitness levels welcome.
