Description

In honor of International Women's Day Join Deb Roger for her engaging workshop on establishing awareness. Retired after 20 years of service with the RCMP. Deb worked in uniform, General investigations including crimes against children, drugs and prostitution. Was in charge of the RCMP Proactive Recruiting Unit for BC & the Yukon. She is now retired as the Non Commissioned Officer in charge of public complaints against the RCMP for BC.

Recently she has joined the fitness team at the Comox Community Centre, sharing her love of group exercise with the us.

Deb Rogers will present and discuss scenarios that woman may face on a daily basis...at work, at home or in the community that put their personal safety at risk. Deb will present strategies, tactics and methods women can use to avoid and overcome these situations if they arise in their lives.

Registration is required but FREE. Donations of both gently worn clothing and cash for the Comox Valley Transition Society will be accepted on the day of the workshop.
