Description
The class start date has been postponed from Jan 15th to Jan 29th.
This children-friendly and informative 6-week violin class is for students who want to explore playing the violin. Students will learn the basic violin techniques and correct posture, and introduction to music reading and ear training in an encouraging setting. Students will gain experience to play in a group.
No previous experience required.
For the age 5-7 class, one parent/guardian-accompanied is recommended to assist their child.
Course material will be provided by the instructor, Lyanne Jarillo.
Students will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the course.

Cost: $109.00
Note: Minimum enrollment is 4. If enrollment is low, the class duration will reduce.
Instrument:
Students need to bring a violin to the class.
Parents may want to rent a violin at one of the local violin shops (Bella Music Ltd., Tan Violins, Myhre’s Music or Long and McQuade, etc.) The shop keeper will measure the child’s arm length and find the right size of the violin. Rental rate varies at approx. $20 per month.
Restriction Exemption Program:
Parents, guardians, and instructors entering the Alberta College Campus will be required to provide proof of vaccination or 72 hour Rapid Test.
