This is a full-year program for musicians to play together. This year's focus is on current big band composition, especially by local jazz artists and composers. The secondary focus will be on the essential repertoire of big band, such as Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Charles Mingus.

About the Jazz Combo
Adult amateur musicians get together to play authentic interpretations of jazz standards, modern tunes from the text “the Jazz Canvas,” and any original compositions by band members. There are plenty of opportunities to solo and improvise. Each combo has 6-7 players.
