The Membership Fee (formerly known as the Registration Fee) is for all students taking private music lessons with a MacEwan University Conservatory of Music teacher whether lessons take place at the Alberta College Campus or teacher's home studio.
Collectively, the fees contribute to maintaining students benefits, administrative support, operations, facilities, and security. It ensures we stay connected with you regarding important updates and offerings.

Registration Steps
To take private lessons at the MacEwan University Conservatory of Music, there are 3 steps
- Confirm lesson schedule with a music teacher
- Membership Fee Registration (pay online or in-person. We cannot take credit card information over the phone)
- Private Music Lesson Tuition (pay directly to the music teacher)
Membership Fee
$40 per student or $20 per additional family member.
Non-refundable and required after lessons are confirmed with an instructor.
This year's membership is effective September 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025.
The $40 fee applies to students who start private music lessons before March 30, 2025. To accommodate new students starting in the Spring/Summer, there is a prorated fee available on April 1st.

Private Music Lesson Tuition
Communication
Registered students/parents receive emails 1 to 4 times a month. This ensures we stay connected with for communicating any building, office, parking or road updates. We also keep students up to date about bursaries, scholarships, upcoming programs/concerts, and free tickets we receive from the music community.

BUILDING & PARKING DETAILS
PARKING AT THE CAMPUS LOT
- There is one impark machine by the church. Use coins and credit card at the machine. No debit or bills.
- Pay online through Hangtag Lot#192. Pay with credit card, Google Pay or Apple Pay. Additional fees may apply.
- There is one concord machine on the east side of the parking lot. Use coins and credit card at the machine. No debit or bills.

NEARY BY PARKING
How do I enter the Alberta College Campus?
ENTRANCE >>
When coming to campus, use the North Entrance facing the parking lot. The South Entrance facing MacDonald Drive is closed for entry. Press the buzzer located to the right of the door. Campus Security will unlock the door to let you in.
ELEVATOR & STAIRS >>
If you arrive before 12:40 p.m. on weekdays, ask Campus Security to provide you with elevator access to the 4th or 5th floors.
The Campus Security office is located at the North Entrance of the Alberta College Campus.
Due to the responsive nature of Security, you may need to press the buzzers at the entrance door.
Monday to Friday: Elevators and stairwell doors to the 5th floor and the 4th floor north end will be locked during the day. North Elevators unlocked at 12:40 p.m. All elevators unlocked at 3:15 p.m.
Saturday: Elevators and stairwell doors on the 5th floor and the 4th floor north end will be unlocked during building hours.
Sunday: Closed
