Standard First Aid w/ CPR-C

This comprehensive two-day course is designed to provide you with the theory and practical skills to mitigate a variety of different emergency situations you may be faced with in your home, community, and workplace. It covers topics such as CPR, AED, emergency medical services, activating 911, wound care, circulatory emergencies, the treatment of various medical conditions. This program will also teach an understanding of topics such as secondary survey, poisoning, bone and joint injuries, heat and cold emergencies and more. The successful completion of this course will give the participant a certification in Standard First Aid & CPR/AED for a three-year period that meets the requirements of WSIB 1101. All participants are encouraged to dress in active/comfortable wear as this course includes both theory and a practical portion.
