Leaders in Training

The Leaders in Training (LIT) program is designed to serve youth (ages 12-14) and assist them in developing leadership skills and qualities. This program provides a safe space for youth and gives them the opportunity to explore their own talents, aspirations and goals. LIT strives to motivate individuals to reflect on their capabilities and empowers them to reach their full potential. This is achieved by offering participants informative workshops surrounding the topics of health, social well-being, career development, and other essential components for youth development. LIT also enables disadvantaged youth with the opportunity to be exposed to a variety of post-secondary and career options through college tours, volunteer placements, and mentorship programs.
