Description
Standard First Aid is a Work Safe BC Occupational Level 1 equivalent and can be used in the workplace. This course includes comprehensive training on the prevention, recognition, and treatment of life-threatening emergencies as well as CPR-C and AED use. Whether you need training for employment or simply want to be prepared to respond to life-threatening emergencies, this course will give you the skills and knowledge to act with confidence.
Prerequisites: It is recommended candidates be 13 years old
Cost: $90 plus tax
Notes: This Course involved online and in-person training. You MUST complete the online portion before attending the in-person training.
Participants will be enrolled for the online portion of the course roughly 2 weeks before the in-class session. The online course takes approximately 8 hours to complete
Participants will receive an email from Red Cross with instructions on how to access their online course before the in-person course date.
Upon completion of the online portion candidates will receive an online certification that signifies they are ready for the in-class session.
