Description
A new and exciting grassroots basketball league program for new and developing players. Boys and girls play together, exposing players to the game of basketball in a safe and fun setting with drills, activities and game play .The Junior program will now have 32 kids per age group which will allow for 4 teams in each group. They will build upon their fundamentals of basketball and learn offensive and defensive strategies and skills that will be used during the league games.
- Monday night practice sessions from 6:30-7:30pm in the Main Gym at Nickle School from Jan 16th - Mar 13th for 8 sessions, No class Feb 20th
- Friday Game nights from 5-7pm at the LBCA gym from Jan 20th - Mar 17th. Junior teams will either play from 5:00-6:00pm, or 6:00-7:00pm a schedule will be sent out once teams are formed, No games Feb 17th - please note that the first Friday Jan 13th will be an additional practice and games will begin the following Friday, each team will have 6 games

Volunteers Needed
We are looking for two parent volunteers to help out with the program. You would help out on both Monday and Friday nights with managing the kids, ensuring they are listening to the coaches and helping set up drills. You don't need any basketball experience or coaching experience, just a willingness to help out! Volunteers will receive 50% off of registration which will be refunded near the end of the program.
2023 REGISTRATION POLICY: Withdrawal from a program is permitted up to 2 weeks prior to the commencement of the program with a full refund. There is a $25 Admin Fee for all withdrawals. If the program is cancelled by LBCA, a refund will be issued.
All registrants will need to bring indoor shoes and a water bottle. Jerseys for games will be provided.
Game schedules will be emailed out at the beginning of the season once the teams are formed.
