Learn the role of the babysitter, child development, caring for children, positive behaviour management, home and outdoor safety and injury prevention, fire safety and first aid tips for children. * The goal of the Emergency First Aid part of this program is to provide students with the skills and information to keep them and the children they babysit safe if they are faced with a medial emergency. We recommend that students enroll in a certified First Aid program to learn advanced skills and CPR to be better prepared for any emergency.
