Bronze Cross (BC) & Intermediate First Aid (IFA)

Intermediate (Standard) First Aid is the prerequisite for Bronze Cross (BC), and Bronze Cross the prerequisite for the National Lifeguard. This course can include BC only or register for the combined course at this special price. BC course includes an introduction to safe supervision in aquatic facilities, CPR level C and lifesaving skills. The SFA course includes head and spinal injuries, environmental emergencies, sudden medical illness, soft tissue injuries and poisons. You may be certified in either SFA or BC or both. SFA will be the first weekend with the BC on the second weekend.

IFA runs the Saturday and Sunday 8 - 4 pm. Bronze Cross runs the following Friday 5- 9 pm and Saturday and Sunday 8 - 4 pm.
