Notes

Participants should wear clothes that are form fitting, especially at the knee-joint and ankle, in order for the instructor to see your movements. Do not wear clothes that will obstruct you or others from dancing. There are change rooms on the Concourse Level.

We require students to wear soft ballet shoes. Street shoes are not permitted in the studios; they should be left in the change rooms or outside the studio. The studios are rosin free, but water may be used on the soles of shoes in case of slippery surfaces. NBS has a dancewear store, The Shoe Room®, which carries a selection of unique and comfortable dance clothing and shoes. It is located at 406 Jarvis St, Toronto, one building uphill from NBS. Adult Ballet students are automatically enrolled in the En Pointe Members Program with VIP status, and will receive emails regularly with offers and promo codes that can be redeemed in store and through the online store.
