Description

Learn to code and simulate the movement of a virtual robot using Scratch on your home computer or device. Import a 2D custom sprite for your virtual robot and program it with Scratch. Learn to calculate distances and turns, and learn to use coding blocks including sensor blocks, loop blocks, wait blocks and move blocks as you work on increasingly complex coding challenges. Requires a PC or Mac (laptop or desktop), or a Chromebook, tablet or iPad, and internet connection. No LEGO® or robotics products are needed for this course. In collaboration with 'the LEGO® guy,' Ian Dudley of Orange STEM Education.
