Thank you for registering in the East Community Centre Unit Summer Camps! Please confirm that your e-mail address is on your account and up to date. Specific camp information, required forms, and programming will be sent out via e-mail the week prior to the start date of your child’s camp.

Please note that this camp is a half day of instruction, and a half day of regular camp-related activities.

Participant Enrolment forms will need to be completed and brought on the first day of camp. For life threatening allergies, please supply two valid Epi-pens as well as two recent photos of your child. All medication must be prescription or be accompanied by a doctor's note. Medication Administration Forms are required for all medication and auto injectors.

Children must bring indoor running shoes, sunscreen, hat, water bottle, peanut-free lunch and snacks, and appropriate outdoor clothing. Bathing suits and towels may be required if the programming includes water games or swimming.

Pre and Post Care is provided from 8-9 am and 4-5pm at no additional charge. We are looking forward to a fun week.

Shared Care Support: The City of Ottawa is committed to the inclusion of all campers. To best support children at camp, please make us aware of any diagnosed or undiagnosed cognitive differences or behaviors your child may have early on. Making us aware early on will help our coordinators arrange for any additional supports that may be needed. If your child requires integration support at school, they will likely need it at City of Ottawa camps. 1:1 Shared Care support can be offered at no cost for 2 weeks. Please be advised that Shared Care is based on a first-come, first-served basis. Please ensure you register into the no-cost Shared Care barcode in addition to registering for camp to secure your spot and allow enough time for the intake process prior to start of camp. Camp participation criteria will be used to determine eligibility for Shared Care support. If you have any questions, contact the Inclusive Recreation team at InclusiveRecreation-LoisirsInclusifs@ottawa.ca.
