Description

Learn Technic building skills, engineering principles, teamwork and organization. Hands-on projects bring machines to life using motors and gears. Introduction to building pre-programmed Mindstorms® robots and performing challenges. In collaboration with 'the LEGO® guy', Ian Dudley of Orange STEM Education.

All pre-camp communications will be completed by email the week prior to camp. Please ensure that your account email address is correct. If you do not receive a pre-camp email, please email sportsplexcamps@ottawa.ca

General Information
Please bring a lunch and two snacks (NUT FREE), a bathing suit and towel, running shoes, sunscreen, hat and a water bottle. An enrolment form must be completed on the first day of camp. For life threatening allergies, please supply two valid Epi-pens as well as two recent photos. All medication must be prescription or be accompanied by a doctor's note.

All recreation programs, services and public events offered within the City's Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services department are open to participants with disabilities, in respect of terms and conditions in department policy.
Please Note: Should you or a family member wish to discuss individual accommodation please allow 2 weeks' notice for processing of the individual request. If you have registered online or by telephone you are still required to provide the 2 weeks' notice.
