Description
This is a comprehensive two-day first aid course covering all major topics. The course is suitable for people looking for a solid foundation in first aid, people employed in a workplace of greater than 5 people, security guards, fire and police program applicants and anyone working with children. This course is approved by WSIB for workplace first aid requirements and teaches the latest CPR guidelines.
This course is a certified first aid prerequisite for those wishing to register in LSS National Lifeguard

Directions (Please Read):
The Public Education Training Centre is located at - at the corner of St. Laurent Blvd. and Don Reid Dr. Parking is located on the west side of the facility. Please enter the facility via the front door - the training facility is on the second floor Unit 202

Full attendance of the course is mandatory for any and all participants to ensure compliance to WSIB standards and for the delivery of all course material. Failure to attend 100% of the course will require the participant to take the full course again.
Students will be asked to complete a COVID-19 screening prior to entry.
Masks are required during practical components of the course, due to working in close confines.
