Camp information and all required forms will be sent out via e-mail the week prior to the start date.If your child requires an Epipen or Twinject, please note that 2 are required at all times while at camp. Any participant requiring any other medication must provide staff with a physician’s written order before agreeing to administer, store or supervise the administration of Non-Prescription Medication/ Alternative Medicine (Tylenol, Benadryl, ect.).Please ensure that your child brings the following items to camp each day: water bottle and 2 snacks and a lunch that does not contain any traces of nuts or peanuts.Shared Care Support: The City of Ottawa is committed to the inclusion of all campers. To best support children at camp, please make us aware of any diagnosed or undiagnosed cognitive differences or behaviours your child may have early on. Making us aware early on will help our coordinators arrange for any additional supports that may be needed. If your child requires integration support at school, they will likely need it at City of Ottawa camps. 1:1 Shared Care support can be offered at no cost for 2 weeks. Please be advised that Shared Care is based on a first-come, first-served basis. Please ensure you register into the no-cost Shared Care barcode in addition to registering for camp to secure your spot and allow enough time for the intake process prior to start of camp. Camp participation criteria will be used to determine eligibility for Shared Care support. Afin de nous permettre d’offrir le meilleur soutien possible aux enfants au camp, veuillez nous informer le plus tôt possible de toute différence cognitive ou de comportement, diagnostiquée ou non, de votre enfant. En étant informés dès le début, nos coordonnateurs pourront mettre en place toute mesure de soutien supplémentaire nécessaire. Si votre enfant a besoin de soutien à l'intégration à l'école, il en aura probablement besoin aussi dans les camps de la Ville d'Ottawa. Un soutien Partagé en ratio 1:1 peut être offert gratuitement pendant 2 semaines. Veuillez noter que le Programme de soins partagés est attribué selon le principe du premier arrivé, premier servi. Assurez-vous de vous inscrire au codes à barres du Programme de soins partagés sans frais en plus de l'inscription au camp pour réserver votre place et laissez suffisamment de temps pour le processus d'admission avant le début du camp. Les critères de participation au camp seront utilisés pour déterminer l'admissibilité au Programme de soins partagés.
