The Art of Teapots

In this two-day workshop, learn the fundamentals of producing a wheel-thrown, functional teapot. The aesthetics, engineering and history of teapots will be discussed, and all the tips, traps, pitfalls and hacks of making teapots will be revealed. This workshop is suited to experienced students who are comfortable working independently on the wheel and can throw a balanced cylinder. Clay and bisque firing of your teapot are included. This workshop does not include Open Studio access.
