Walking in water is an excellent low-impact cardio and resistance training exercise option. Aqua Walking helps improve your balance and muscle function, strengthening and toning many muscle groups while burning calories. It is also gentle on your bones and joints, making it a safer exercise option for people who have conditions like arthritis, osteoporosis or fibromyalgia by putting less pressure and stress on your body. Aqua Walking can also be a good workout for anyone who is pregnant, recovering from an injury, new to exercise or seniors. We can make this program fun and interesting by doing variations and using different equipment. Start off slowly and gradually increase the duration and intensity of your workouts. Before you know it, you may find that Aqua Walking becomes a regular part of your fitness routine!
