Description
Please Note: The Observatory Dome/74” telescope is currently undergoing restoration and will not be available for this program. Holidays at the Observatory will offer festivities and stories from traditions
like Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanza, and many more. We will guide you
through the First Nations’ constellations from the Anishinaabe tradition, and
explore our universe through virtual simulation technology. We will learn
about the winter solstice on the Earth and venture to true ice planets, and
we have special celestial Holiday activities to engage younger participants.
A starfinder is included in the price of the program. All individuals/family members attending this program must be registered and a registered adult must accompany any registered participants under the age of 16. Please wear / bring appropriate supplies for being outdoors and arrive 15 minutes prior to the program start time in order to be signed in. This program runs rain or shine.
