With a limited palette, you'll explore expressive brushwork and colour mixing to bring your floral composition to life. No previous experience required – this workshop is perfect for all levels, and you'll receive step-by-step guidance to create a stunning still-life painting. By the end of the day, you'll take home a completed piece and the skills to continue your acrylic and mixed media journey. All tools and materials provided upon payment of $20.00 Materials Fee to instructor at workshop. Bring an old credit card you don’t mind getting messy, and a bagged lunch.

Meet Your Instructor
Nancy Falconi is a Toronto-based photographer and artist with an inspiring journey into creative expression. Initially starting out with a basic camera to capture moments with her family, Nancy discovered her passion for photography through small, transformative steps that eventually led to a successful career, represented by Getty Images and having her work featured in magazines such as Entrepreneur, Yoga Journal, and Canadian Living, reflecting her unique blend of artistry and connection with the natural world. She combines her photographic images with fine art painting mediums to create one of a kind mixed media paintings. With years of experience teaching art to beginners and those without prior drawing experience, Nancy empowers students to explore photography-based art as a means of self-expression. Her workshops guide students through the steps of image transfer and mixed media painting to build values, depth, and a painterly effect in their artwork. Nancy’s approach encourages students to create authentic, meaningful art while developing foundational skills in photography-based mixed media, making her classes accessible to anyone with a desire to connect with their creativity.
