Virtual - Engineering For Kids MINECRAFT FUTURE CAMP

Join us, from the comfort of your home, for this virtual program. This camp will immerse campers in the expansive world of Minecraft and will challenge camper's ingenuity and problem-solving skills as they navigate through several engineering challenges. Students will learn how to use teamwork and manage resources like an engineer in the real world. Building in Minecraft allows students to experiment with designs and materials, all without the risks associated with building structures in reality. Campers get to learn: How the United Nations is using Minecraft in the process of urban planning and design!

Camp Requirements:

In this camp, we will be using Minecraft JAVA which is only compatible with PC (Windows) & MacBook (MacOS). So, families need to have either of these devices available for their children.

- Campers may use their own Minecraft account for PC. If students do not have their Minecraft PC account, they can choose one of the below options:

1- Purchase their own permanent account: www.minecraft.net/en-us/store/minecraft-java-edition/

2- Engineering For Kids will share a temporary username & Password which can be used only during the class. This option should be communicated by email (yorkregion@engineeringforkids.com) at least 4 days before the start date.

Prior to the start of the program you will be emailed information on the virtual program links and any specific information relating to your program
