Sensory Skate

Join us for a sensitive skate! Children and youth with disabilities and developmental needs and their families can enjoy an open skate with fewer people and a quieter environment. All abilities are welcome! There will also be sledges available to try.

Please note: All participants skating will need to register in the program. Parent/guardian accompanying their child(ren) on the ice will need to be registered.

CSA-APPROVED ICE HOCKEY HELMETS ARE MANDATORY FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS.

PROTECTIVE CAGE FACEMASKS ARE RECOMMENDED FOR ALL SKATERS.

There will be a limited number of sleds to try. Equipment required for sleds: CSA-Approved Ice Hockey Helmet. Participants will also need wear protective gloves and boots/shoes when using a sled. Shin and elbow pads are also recommended.
