Pick up a Time Capsule kit and get ready to create your memories! As we look back at 150 years of Richmond Hill’s History. A time capsule is a great way to create a snapshot of what it is like to live in Richmond Hill today. Look around for items that paint a picture of a place, people, or current events. Place the items in your “capsule”. Time capsules are fun to assemble and re-opening the time capsule years later is an insightful way to look back on the past with items that are meaningful to that time. Sign up for your free time capsule and pick it up at the Richmond Hill Heritage Centre. While you are there, take in our special exhibition ‘Collecting Time’. Time capsules are available to Richmond Hill Residents only. One capsule per family/household. Pick up will be at The Richmond Hill Heritage Centre during Gallery Hours: Tuesday 1-4pm, Thursdays 4-8p.m. Saturday 10-4p.m. July 29 until August 24.
