Counsellor in Training Camp - Senior

This in-depth program will provide participants with the basic skills and training required to apply for a position working in a children's or summer camp program. As part of the program, participants will obtain a High Five Certification in the Principles of Healthy Child Development, Standard First Aid Certificate and complete 32 hours of placement at a summer camp following the first or second week of class. First aid certification may take place outside camp hours. Time TBD. Placement hours cannot be used as volunteer hours for high school and campers must complete all 32 hours of placement. 100% attendance is required in order to complete the course. Campers must be 14 years of age at the start of camp.
