Preparedness 100: Emergency Preparedness Speaker Series

The Saanich Emergency Program hosts Theron Finley, Ph.D. Candidate in the School of Earth and Ocean Sciences at the University of Victoria. Theron will discuss the recently discovered X?E,OL,X?ELE? - Elk Lake fault, their research, the various associated seismic hazards and risks and how we can best prepare for an earthquake. Each session covers a different topic that could include the hazards that surround us, the utilities we use, or a different perspective related to emergencies and events in our community.
