Description
This hands on program, lead by our Naturalist Kristine Heilmann, BA in Wildlife Biology and currently working towards her Master's Degree in Biology, offers adults the chance to discover what nature has to offer in Saanich. Topics include: Ecology, Geology, Invasive Species, Botany, Ornithology, Ethnobotany, and more! Dress for both the weather and being one with nature. Week One we will meet at Mount Tolmie. Week Two: Glencoe Cove. Week Three: PKOLS (Mt. Doug). Week Four: Rithet's Bog. Week Five: Knockan Hill. Week Six: Swan Lake.
